We will wrap your bouquet to take home like you've just picked it up from the florist!

Natives Two Ways
Who loves natives!
One of the joys of native flowers is that they last a long time, therefore you get great value for money from your arrangement.
In this workshop I will demonstrate 2 arrangements, one is a vase arrangement that could sit in the middle of a table or on your kitchen bench and the other is a hand held bouquet.
You choose which one you would like to do. If you chose to make the bouquet, we will wrap it beautifully for you to gift to someone else or take home to treat yourself.
We will use some stunning native flowers (maybe some proteas, maybe some leucadendrons), add some filler flowers and some greenery and ..... Voila! I'll also chat about purchasing flowers, flower preparation, how to make your arrangement last longer, bouquet/vase composition/design and a few other pearls of floral wisdom.
My workshops are an opportunity to stop….relax……take some time for yourself.....soak up nature in our peaceful setting and create some flower memories. Bring a friend or a family member to share the day with you.
If you choose to do the vase arrangement then bring your own vase approximately 20-25cm tall. If you would like me to source a vase for you let me know.
Cost: $100.00 (includes all native flowers and secondary flowers, foliage, 2 floral demonstrations, bouquet assembly assistance, morning tea and skills to apply to future floral works)
Time: 9.30am – 12.30pm. Please arrive by 9.15am so we can start on time at 9.30am.
What to bring: A vase, a bucket to take your arrangement home, if choosing the vase option.
What to wear: Covered shoes
Bookings are limited to 10 per workshop. Be aware that the numbers shown as 'going' on the event page may not be a true indication of spaces left as people may be attending who are not in the FlowerJoy@Ilkley group.
Payment is required prior to the workshop. To secure your place message me and I will send you my bank details for a direct deposit. Your placement in the workshop will be guaranteed once payment is received. If you want to ask someone along who is not in the FlowerJoy@Ilkley group, please send me a message so I can count them in the numbers.
Note we are a rural property and we have wildlife such as bees, ants, mosquitoes and sandflies so if you have allergies please take care.
